Easy Life Jiu Jitsu Club
The Beginning
Easy Life Jiu Jitsu Club was born from a passion for Jiu Jitsu and a desire to build a brand that not only offers high-quality, stylish, and functional gear that’s fun to wear but also uses its success to give back to the community through charitable initiatives, helping more people access Jiu Jitsu and build confidence.
There are currently only 2 of us, me - Adam, and my partner, Ashleigh. While I handle the technical and creative side of things, Ashleigh is my sounding board, providing valuable critiques (even if she gets roped into it more often than she’d like). Despite my tendency to be a bit annoying, she supports the brand wholeheartedly.
From the start we knew we wanted to create a collection of fun designs that people could get behind. We worked with multiple designers, both in the UK and overseas, before finally landing on the perfect fit - a cheeky little Devil Boy for all those mischievous grapplers out there.
Once we had our first solid designs, we moved on to the search for a rash guard and shorts manufacturer. We explored options within the UK, but unfortunately, none of them aligned with our needs and honestly, they were just too expensive for a small brand focusing on small batch designs. After extensive research, we found an overseas manufacturer that matched our ethical standards - ensuring fair wages, good working conditions, and staff well-being. After multiple samples and countless hours spent refining the designs, we were eventually ready to move forward with production.
The creation of the T-shirts was a far easier process, and we found a great UK supplier very quickly who ticked all the boxes.
After we had received our first delivery of the Devil Boy Collection, we created our social media pages and a Big Cartel website - starting the process of uploading our product images ready for our launch.

The Launch
Our soft launch was met with incredible support from friends and the local Jiu Jitsu community. The Devil Boy Collection was a hit, and orders started pouring in. By the end of the first month, we had sold more than half of our limited stock, with some of the popular sizes selling out entirely. The response was overwhelming – and we’re still buzzing from it!
As our social media following grew, we started receiving messages of support from grapplers all over the world. It was clear that we were creating something people actually cared about, which was both humbling and exciting.

The Future
Our vision for Easy Life Jiu Jitsu Club is to build a strong brand and an even stronger community that can contribute to charitable causes, helping more people access Jiu Jitsu through confidence-building initiatives, financial support, and other opportunities. To make this happen, we need to grow.
With a brand-new website (big thanks to Steve for his help) and fresh designs coming soon, the future is looking exciting.
We’re already working on new rash guards, BJJ apparel, and training gear, all while staying true to our commitment to making Easy Life Jiu Jitsu Club an exciting, relatable brand for grapplers everywhere.
